Since Covid-19, the need for mental health services has increased, however treatment volume has dropped across health centers. AIDAN® Engage automatically texts patients that need an appointment and gives them schedule options to select.

Challenges

Compass along with other organizations have rapidly adapted to the Covid-19 crisis by transforming operations and moving to telehealth services. Engaging with patients in this digital-first world is a challenge.

The demand of behavioral health services has spiked, yet visit volumes are low as patients transition to new telehealth services and in office visits are slowly ramping up.

How AIDAN is helping

AIDAN Engage analyzes the data in your Electronic Health Record and recommends patients that need care.

The recommendation list is then clinically reviewed by staff and the patients receive recommended schedule options they can respond to via text.

What we are seeing

Our focus is to reduce patient attrition, to keep patients in care, that need care and to proactively reach out to patients at risk of leaving.


Over 20% of patients responded and kept future appointments. These are patients that would have been lost to attrition or had significant gaps in their treatment.

The treatment plan for patients is radically different from observed behavior – patient engagement is a is a big factor in influencing patient attrition.
